Naima Joris is een Belgische zangeres en multi-instrumentalist die doorbrak met haar indringende, sobere stijl waarin rouw, verstilling en troost centraal staan. Haar warme, breekbare stem en minimale, vaak akoestische arrangementen maken haar werk herkenbaar en ontroerend. Ze veroverde de aandacht van een breed publiek met haar cover van Sodade tijdens de eerste lockdown.
Momenteel is Naima op tournee met haar nieuwe album Enjoy the Silence (2025), een sobere, ingetogen plaat vol persoonlijke covers van onder anderen Nick Drake, Billie Holiday en Tom Waits. Samen met meesterlijke muzikant Vitja Pauwels neemt Naima de luisteraar mee in haar eigen bijzondere wereld, waar ze de liedjes van anderen zachtjes ombuigt tot iets dat helemaal het hare wordt.
